Pioneer Fannie Belle Johnson married cow boy and blacksmith James Boyd and she and her husband built this home in 1905. Fannie raised two boys in the small mountain town of Estes Park. We’ll add more of Fannie’s and her husband James’s fascinating story to the blog over the next few months. This photo shows James and Fannie standing in front of their new home when it sat down town Estes Park. The home was moved to its current location during the years of 1925-1927.
